On 1/14/2007, Maria Elvira, whom I respect and admire a lot, made an error when she stated that Hialeah was the most “hispanic” city in the U.S…With all due respect to her, such comment is an insult to the Puerto Rican community, since Puerto Rico has the most hispanic cities in the U.S., regardless of what she thinks or say…I request that she retracts herself from such comment and apologize and correct herself. Hialeah is perhaps the most hispanic city in the continental U.S. and not the U.S…By the way, she is great and I commend her for her informative program…

Hate crime is at an all time high, especially hate against Hispanics. Its no coincidence that the latest victim, Lawrence King, looks Hispanic.
I am now guesting on podcasts to spread word about the hate group Westboro Baptist Church. They picket the funerals of dead soldiers, some of whom are Hispanic. I’m sure they will get to all Hispanics eventually. They also hate Catholics! They have signs that say “Thank God for 9-11!” as well as other slogans.

It was disrespectfully to the audience that watch Jaime Bayly’s show to cut the signal abruptly while he was talking. When Jaime Bayly comments about Cuba or Venezuela MegaTV gave him additional time in some instances. When the comments are againts the abuses of MegaTV management they shut him down. Where is the speech freedom? The only spanish speaking program that deserves to be seeing. Jaime’s comments are open with a sprint of humor. MegaTV management demonstrated that Jaime was right when he unadvertedly compared Mr Raul Alarcon with the Castro brothers or Hugo Chavez. They did the same. The only difference is that the Castro brothers and Hugo Chavez kill the people’s freedoms openly. MetaTV management is so coward that they while hidden. Without Jaime Bayly I will never watch MegaTV.

That is a really interesting topic! The Hispanic population is quite diverse and as a result so are the scents the different subgroups identify with. Perhaps food would be the most likely to elicit a response and recognition. There are many Hispanic cuisines: Argentine, Chilean, Colombian, Cuban, Dominican, Mexican (and within Mexican many varieties), Peruvian, Puerto Rican to name some. In Miami some of the largest subgroups are Cuban, Nicaraguan, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Colombian, each group with its own identity and cuisine.

There must be some mistake. Our emails are few and always include an unsubscribe option at the bottom, a hyperlink for instant removal from our subscriber list.
