hispanicmpr.com is a great source and I really appreciate your work.
Elena,
My name is David Burgos. I currently head Millward Brown’s Multicultural Practice.
I wanted to share with you some information that I believe will be of high interest to the members of Hispanic Marketing and Public Relations. It is a Lifestyles Segmentation of the US Hispanic market – a project that goes beyond traditional language/acculturation variables to segment Hispanics.
I have presented the results of this quantitative project (representative of ALL US Hispanics) to many of our clients. The feedback has been very positive. I am now interested in sharing this information with an extended audience and thought that your organization would be a great option.
I’d like to send you more information about this project, but can’t do it via this message. If you are interested, please contact me at david.burgos@us.millwardbrown.com
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
David

¡Enhorabuena Elena!

HI, I am looking to get in touch with a Hispanic premium/luxury marketing trends specialist for a research study I am working on. Would you be able to connect me with anyone in this field? Thank you.
Hi, would appreciate your help, where would we be able to get a list to telemarket our real estate development to persons who have emigrated to the states from Nicaragua and may still want to purchase property.
Thank you for your lead
Hello Chale and thanks for your comment.
There are companies that sell that kind of information. Off the top of my head I don’t know and would likely need more information and time to help you. You can do the research online yourself by looking for list farming companies. If you need my help I will have to charge you for my time. Let me know if that’s what you would like.
Elena,
Is if possible to get a list of all Hispanic Book Conferences to be held during the year.
Thank you.

Hi Dorothy and thanks for your comment.
I’m not sure what you mean by Hispanic Book Conferences. We partner with some event organizers and sometimes are able to offer subscribers discounted rates. Is that what you mean? If so, just click on the Events Page at the top.

Dear Elena,
I heard Guy Gabaldon’s story on WNYC this morning and was very inspired by Mr. Gabaldon’s heroism. I brought the story to the attention of our managing editor thinking we could do something in our magazine, Guideposts.
We are an inspirational magazine reaching 8 million readers across the country.
Would you know how I can reach the producer, Steve Rubin? I’d like him to send us some press material? Maybe we could do a story from the point of view of one of the actors? Or perhaps Steve himself?
Best regards,

Hola Elena,
Each year at our school we have a schoolwide assembly to honor our local veterans. I heard on NPR the story about Guy Gabaldon. Any chance the documentary director could come to our school and be a guest speaker on May 23rd? If he can not speak do you have any other person in mind? How do I get a copy of the documentary East LA Marine? Our school is 90% latino and could use a shot of inspiration during these difficult ecomomic times. Those beautiful strawberries, oranges, and lemons everyone enjoys are picked by the parents of my students. I am glad I found you on the web and would like to try to to work with you on another assembly I call Enjoy Cultural Diversity for next year where speakers from different countries tell their stories of immigration and then we enjoy music and or dance from their homeland.
Hasta la vista,
Laurie Merrill

Hi, I am Jean , the founder of the Social Network Hispanito.com
Thank you very much Elena for publishing my article in HisapnicMPR .
I send this note to clarify the comment above.
The Hispanito.com domain was registered in 2002. From 2003 to 2006 the domain hosted a great directory of links for the hispanic world.
In 2006 I bought the domain and in 2007 I launched the social platform.
Thanks to the great position of the previous link-directory in the Google search engine, we reached 8,000 page views on our 1st day of operation in February 27th 2007.
On April 25 2008 Hispanito had 325,000 page views.
Thanks to all of you for your interest and your feedbacks on the article.
Jean
Dear Elena,
Thank you for your efforts to raise the level of awareness of Latinos who go above and beyond the limits of the typical American experience in war as well as in peace.
I read about Guy Gabaldon last year. I wished I could have met this unusual every day man.
I retired from the Army as a chaplain in 2006 after serving in the Navy, Naval Reserve and Army Reserve. During my years of service I became aware of our little known contributions to the humanity of the world through our military and peace service. I met a man from New Mexico who told me of his experiences in war in the Pacific when he rescued a Japanese General and his staff who surrendered and taking them prisoners rather than the usual shootings. He was never recognized for that but then that was typical of the time due to the intrenched racism of our American society at the time. I will share his name you when you answer my message. I would also be interested in helping you document the rich lives of our Latinos in peace and in war for posterity.
Thank you for your efforts.
I work with a developer in the Houston area, we currently have a subdivision that we would like to market to the Hispanic homebuyer. I would appreciate any input you would have as to how to break into that market.
Thank you,
Cindy Eppolito

Hello Maria and thanks for your comment,
There are many possible sources of funding for a program for Latino youth. I suggest you consider organizations targeting Latino youth like beverage, mobile, clothing and computer companies as they are the most likely to be interested in that demographic and may have funding dollars available. If your program is local you may want to start with local companies. If it’s national you can expand your search. I hope that helps.
Hi Elena: I was looking at your website and I was wondering if you can help me. I am as a creative for mayor ad agenciees in the US. Hello Elena,
My name is Jennifer Henry, I live in Sierra Vista, AZ and am a Puerto Rican residing in the above address for the last 10 years; while visiting home last week I found out about L’Bel cosmetics and although I have researched and tried to get in contact with the company I haven’t got any luck. I even talked to the main lady in PR but she told me I need to get in touch with someone in the States. Can you please send me some info? I would love to market the products! Thank you…

Hello Ms. Del Valle,
My name is Sara Rojas and I am a recent graduate from American University in Washington, DC. I have a degree in Public Relations and Spanish with a minor in Marketing. I just wanted to say thank you so much for this website, it has been a God send for me. I am an eagerly searching for a job. I have a dream of moving to NY city and pursuing a career in marketing or public relations with an emphasis on the U.S Hispanic community. I am proud of being the first college graduate in my family, but I have been out of school for almost two months now and I am struggling to find a job. I was wondering if you had any advice or if you know of any companies looking for a very hard working, driven, organized and cheerful college graduate, such as myself? I greatly appreciate all of your help and I thank you for being a role model for young hispanic women.
Sincerely,
Sara Rojas
I am Vice President of Internet Business at Legacy Publishing Company and am researching the prospects for translating and marketing our flagship product to the spanish language market in the United States. The product, The Total Transformation Program, is a CD/DVD program for those struggling to raise kids with behavior issues. It sells for approximately $300.
The Total Transformation Program is a proven success. We have sold 125,000 copies by advertising nationally on TV and radio. We are looking for a company with an equally established track record.
Could you recommend a company that can help us reach this market? spanishlegacy @ gmail.com
Hello Sara Rojas and thanks for your kind words.
In terms of your search for a job, I suggest you identify the companies you would like to work with and approach them. It’s important to describe what you have to offer them rather than what you want only. You might also want to take a look at our Job Ads page where job opportunities are announced at https://www.hispanicmpr.com/category/job-ads/
I hope this helps. Best of luck in your search! Feel free to stay in touch and leave comments in the future.
Dear Elena:
I’d ask that you consider learning more about what we are doing at The Giddy Gander Company to support bilingual (Spanish-English) fluency in the United States beginning with children and children’s television, namely a series and brand called The Wumblers. Having recently emerged from both Toyfair and Licensing Show, highly successful with the bilingual branded product we showed to the existing licensing and retail marketplaces, we arrived back to our office to unexpected discussions to air The Wumblers on one of the top two Spanish Language broadcasters in the US beginning July 1, 2008, which will correlate nicely with our emergence into Walmart through a joint promotion, between The Wumblers, The National Watermelon Association, and Walmart, which will kick off this July in one of their Texas stores. The most prominent reason for all of the excitement surrounding The Wumblers is explained below, quoted recently from an article written about The Giddy Gander Company:
“…and The Wumblers rapid success includes the bilingual (Spanish-English) marketplace in a prominent way through Spanish media and product companies as well as leading news organizations supporting the series through a variety of business opportunities that will help Spanish speaking children in the United States achieve English fluency in a new and innovative way while remaining consistent with the values that remain key to the strong family ties and cultural origins of this flourishing community that offers so much to our US society.”
Additionally, our business model is just as innovative as the series, itself. We’ve bridged unexpected partners and continue to air upon and expand into mass, inspirational, educational, and (now) Spanish Language broadcast platforms both nationally and internationally. If you’d like to learn more about The Wumblers series and brand, do not hesitate to contact me or my associate Heidi Schwartz at extension 230. .
Thank you for your time.

Hi Elena I work for kuafrica.com in South Africa as an entertainment editor and I read Your article on the New company to target latinos with million dollar TV game shows and I think its fine. Here in Africa there is high percentage of individuals who enjoy and participate in game shows on TV. So I will like this project not only to be confined amongst latinos but also Africans. So I will like to tender a proposal to SCA Latam to bring this project to Africa through kuafrica.com if its possible because here in kuafrica.com, we help to brand Africa and the world. But now I need a contact for SCA Latam.

Ours is a lifestyle magazine geared towards showing our readers about the luxury and fun that awaits ethnic boaters on America’s revers, inlets, and estuaries. That seems like an interesting topic. I’m not aware of any organization or club of Hispanic boaters and yacht clubs. You may want to contact boating, yachting, sailing clubs in major Latino markets – say the top 20 DMAs. I hope that helps!
Hello Elena,

We are trying tofind a contact person either on LATV or with Time Warner On Demand section. Your story about LATVs success in the VOD world gave us a point of contact — you — and we are trying to find a contact name that would let us add shows — like Loco Comedy Jam milatino.com/loco_comedy_jam.htm — to add to the VOD lineup if not natianally at least in Los Angeles. I am a casting director and I am working for a major cable network and we are looking for a Hispanic Chef for a new Cooking Show.
We are conducting a nationwide search.
We would like the chef to be fun and chrismatic and to have professional experience in cooking such as catering, personal chef, working in a restaurant etc.
Your website is terrific and I assume it reaches a large audience.

Also I would like to know if you have any affiliation with Telemundo
Thank you
Hello Sab and thanks for your comment. What situation or shows are you referring to? We have no affiliation with Telemundo.
I don’t have any idea what goes into the “verify” box required to receive “emotional branding.”

Hi Elena,
I was looking at your events that you have posted for the fall. I would just like to point out that the National Hispanic Business Association (NHBA) NHBA.org and Mexican American Engineers and Scientist natl-maes.org are joining forces for the first time to have their national conferences. This event will bring close to 2000 undergraduates in the Business, Engineering, Scientist and technology. what is the criteria you use to post events? Enrique
Hi Enrique and thanks for your comment. Some of the events listed are of Event Partners (look for the words “Information provided by our Event Partner” to identify information submitted by them). In terms of criteria, we give consideration to any event we think may interest our audience. The challenge is gathering the information. If you think they would make good partners feel free to have them contact me.
Dear Elena –

Are you interested in editorial material in Spanish about coaching / Coach training / Clientele development?
Kind regards.
Hi Christian and thanks for your comment,
Our audience is mostly in the USA although we’re finding an increasing number of international visitors. Are you targeting Spanish dominant Latinos in the USA or in Latin America? Please tell me more and maybe we can do something in the form of an interview for presentation – one of our Expert Resources Section presentations is by a business coach.
It’s an uphill battle all the way in Reno NV to try and get the anglo population to view the value of bilingual children’s books, fiction and non fiction, books. I can write them, and illustrate them, and even publish them on a site (Georgia Hedrick’s Storefront). But i cannot get our school school to see the value in them.
Any one with any ideas out there as to how to get such books into the schools? Plus, the way I set the books up it is so that one side of a page is in English and the other side is in Spanish, with the illustration repeated. My vision is for parent to read Spanish to the child, and child to read English to the parent.
I think it is a great way to reinforce the cultures.
Am I alone in this? Georgia Hedrick retired teacher

Additionally his vision for the location he has rented for the show is to leave it as a gallery and community place SoHo style for the Greenwich, CT affluent residents who have to go to NYC to feel an artistic and creative ambiance. The project has great merit and as the person who manages PR, I think the artist may be interested in being on your show. Please inform if there is interest on your end to interview the artist.
Hello Nicole and thanks for your comment,
If you share his bio and proposed topic for discussion I will be happy to consider him.
We are doing publicity for WAR. Would you like to cover a story …

Hi Elena,
I’m currently working as a Marketing Manager for PSCU Financial Services. We are owned by credit unions and are the biggest Credit Union Service Ortganization in the country. I recently launched an educational and marketing campaign to help our credit unions reach the Hispanic market. I’m in need of advice as far as what seminars, conventions or conferences you recommend professionals to attent to gain a better understanding of the market and new trends. I would really appreciate it if you make some suggestions, especially if you know of any that may be financial services related. Thank you.
Best Regards,
Pilar
Hello Pilar,
It can be expensive and time consuming to attend conferences so I try to maximize my participation when I attend. In addition to the learning opportunities they can also be great for networking. Before scheduling conferences you may want to start with some reading or listening to some audio interviews. We have a number of audio interviews from leaders in the field available in our resources section free of charge https://www.hispanicmpr.com/resources/podcast-list/.
Visit the Resources Section more in depth analysis in articles and audio presentations – https://www.hispanicmpr.com/resources/

Today, at 2:30, I will meet with a Natuatl Indian, his sister, a Union guy, and Gilbert Cortez who will interpret to me my thousands questions. .
In order to preserve the Nahuatl Indian language this man his written, had translated into both English and Spanish and Nahuatl language, a dictionary. It is typed, indexed and translated into English by someone in Boston, is 300 pages (14000 words) long. These two Nahuatl natives to Southern Mexico, Bernice and Arturo Rivera, have composed this in order to save their native language. Today I go and see how I can help them get this into print.
They are poor, clean houses, do handiwork about the yards, and have only one main wish: to preserve their native language so that it will always be understood. (They say it is dying out.)
I need all the suggestions I can get as to where do I go with this? Who do I bring this to? Is this of value to the linguistic community?
I know nothing beyond what I am telling you.
What questions should I ask them? Somebody, somewhere, HELP! gh
ps for anyone who appreciates and understands the LADY OF GUADALUPE and what she means to Mexico, please know that Nahuatl is the language spoken by both Juan Deigo and the Lady who talked to him. So, this language is very special and has to be preserved. gh
Elena (and anyone else who would find a value) we would love to include your translated information on our new community-based Spanish language website, HolaOsceola.com. Osceola County is in Central Florida, with an average of 52% Hispanic population, some communities reaching 70%. There are two ways to accomplish having your translated articles, info, etc., included on the site.
1) email translated materials/photos/graphics to me at info@holaosceola.com and I will post it (in my username)
2) create a username and password to register, confirm your registration welcome email
3) post content 24/7 in any category – under your own username!
We hope many of you will find this valuable from a marketing and/or information sharing standpoint. Thank you.
Hello Dawn, Thanks for your comment and interest. I would be happy to consider sharing links and perhaps content in English.
Hey Elena,
My name’s Marcus, I work at the brand consulting agency, Vaynermedia. Over the next four months I’m working specifically with Gary Vaynerchuk. Gary has found success in branding himself through the use of social media. Due to this success he’s signed a ten book deal with Harper Collins; you can read more about it in this WSJ article (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123868606261082747.html). The first book is slated to come out this October, it’s called Crush It: Why Now Is the Time To Cash In on Your Passion.
Basically, I’m e-mailing you because Gary’s trying to get together a promotional bonanza around the release. We’re getting requests for interviews and stuff like that but we decided it would be better to be proactive and contact all the business and marketing blogs and see what we can do for them. He’d love to do book giveaway contests, interviews, Q&A sessions, an interpretive dance summarizing a chapter, really anything that you think your readers would like to see.
On your side, anything you do with him is going to get an influx of readers to your blog due to his massive and loyal following. If you’ve got anything specific as to what you want to do or if you just want to start bouncing some ideas around shoot me an e-mail.

Hello Elena, I was wondering if you could help me in getting in touch with someone regarding publishing my story. My family escaped from Cuba in 1963. My story is about my father’s involvement in the anti-communist movement in the early 60’s and my families desire and courage to live the Anerican Dream. I really don’t know where to get started. Any ideas or suggestions
Dear Elena del Valle,
Hi, my name is Adelin Gasana and I am an independent professional documentary filmmaker. I am currently in production on my next documentary film entitled, Cuban America. This film will convey the historical importance, political significance, and economic influence that the Cuban exile community has had in the Miami-Dade/South Florida region and the effect it has on the U.S. political structure altogether for the past 50 years.
I plan on interviewing intellectuals from authors to professors like you, working class and white collar workers, former and active political leaders, Cuban restaurant, bar, and small business owners, Cuban American priests and pastors, a diversed blend of Cuban American citizens all over South Florida, residents of Little Havana, Hialeah, and Westchester, Mel Martinez, Florida Senator, Modesto Maidique, president of FIU, Julio Robaina, Mayor of Hialeah, and other significantly important people for this big project. All of my interviewees will freely express their experiences, insights and views on this important subject.
I want to include you in this film for many particular reasons. One, to help get in contact with prominent Cuban Americans who would like to tell their story and/or leave a legacy behind. Two, potential sponsors like Hispanic MPR or others who would be interested in funding this film project for completion. And three, more interesting interviews from various Cuban Americans who have a deep desire to express their views and provide their insights on camera. We are currently in production of this film within the next 12-18 months. I would like to get in contact with you in the next couple of weeks if not days so I can get the opportunity for you to provide me with what you know and perhaps, help me steer this film project in the right direction. Attached is the treatment to the documentary film. I think you would be an excellent if not necessary addition to this documentary film project.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely yours,
Mr. Adelin Gasana

Ms. Del Valle,
I’m writing to inform you of a new fund opened recently at the Triangle Community Foundation in Durham, North Carolina. The Tomorrow Fund serves to address the needs of Hispanic students at the post-secondary education level. We hope to give hope to high schoolers in NC whom are Hispanic so that they do not drop out of school. Currently, as you probably know, Hispanics have the highest dropout rate in the country. We are trying to solicit donations to the fund, particularly from the Latino professional community. We all have a vested interest in seeing these students complete their education instead of hitting the streets without education or employment. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.
Diane
Hello Diane and thanks for your comment (above),
That is a wonderful idea! At HispanicMPR we try to support community causes as much as we can. If the organization is a nonprofit 501 and you have a graphic ad (120 wide by 240 tall in jpg or gif) for the fund it would be eligible to run free of charge. You are also welcome to write an article for our Guest Articles Section. I will be happy to share guidelines if that’s of interest.

I just emailed you … Sometimes publishers provide PR support. Have you asked your publisher about this?
Tell me more about your needs and I’ll try to make a suggestion: do you need someone to be in your city, state? are you looking for a project oriented agency? what else are you looking for?

CBH Books announces the publication of the novel El pueblo de Juan by Lily Guzmán.
This Spanish-language novel, based on true events, tells the story of Alborde, an
impoverished town where children cannot complete school because their parents are
migrant workers for several months each year. Juan, a boy from the town, realizes that
things have to change and he develops a plan to convert Alborde into a land of
opportunity, one step at a time. This is a tale of courage, solidarity, and the overall
commitment to bringing about change in our own communities.
El pueblo de Juan teaches young readers, and anyone interested in community
development, how to act at the local level in order to improve citizens’ lives. The book is
dedicated to the Iberian-American Union of Municipalities and it is a timely novel due to
the contemporary trend of emphasizing local action.
Lily Guzman was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United
States when she was a teenager. She studied at Barry University and received her
Master’s in Public Administration from the Carlos III University and the Institute of
Municipal Studies and International Cooperation in Granada, Spain. She currently works
as Consulting Manager of International Business Development at LGA, Inc. She also
serves as the US representative at the Iberian-American Union of Municipalists. She has
published short stories and several articles in Better Homes and Gardens and other
magazines.
The first chapter of El pueblo de Juan is available at scribd.com and the
book can be purchased at cbhbooks.com and amazon.com as well on the

I want to comment about a commercial in History Channel en Español, in which a Che Guevara photo appears and he is called “un revolucionario admirable”.
Che Guevara was a mass murderer nothing more. He started the “paredons” in Cuba; there is nothing “admirable” in him. This commercial is very offensive and misguiding.
I am a Senior at Georgia State University. I am part of a team that is doing a marketing project on AT&T’s methods of marketing to the Hispanic community. Hi Elena:
I’m from Argentina, and have published a book in Argentina in 2007 in Spanish language. I’ve recently translated it into English. The book consist of two science Fiction stories which content -or rather its topic- I here briefly explain:
First story
The whole story tells about a spiritual, or rather an intellectual dilemma between exacerbated individualism vs. Communitarian lifestyle. The emerging question is: why do find Anglo-Saxons an easy task auto structuring their communal life without strong intervention of law or state, whereas Latin Americans, for instance, can’t do likewise, and even being strongly controlled by law they always find a way around to skip it? The answer and, why not, the solution, is a long process that involve a rearrangement of guidelines which rule personal and social life,. The process mentioned is often a painful one, so, if the reader is clever, he will find less bloody and less painful to undergo this experience by enjoying the intellectual exercise of reading a fictional nightmare than pushing things too far in real life, till everything is lost, just like did the main character of the book story.
Second story
Envy is an unspeakable sin due to its mean nature, it’s 100% evil, therefore, it has no justification at all, and that’s why it has to do its evil work in only two ways, namely;
a) When the envious is an individual:
He has to do his evil against the envied from the shadows. As he can’t find any justification, he conceals his true intention by making up slanders and defamations against his victim.
b) When the envious are a group, a class or a nation:
The collective envy needs to be expressed outwardly by certain leaderships and upholding a dogma or ideology to justify their destructive work. Economic egalitarianism (or the so called “social justice”) has for more than a century been the best excuse the envious have used in order to make the successful and eminent individuals, groups or nations appear as criminals before the World’s eyes. These dogmas, by the force of its logic, push even good natured people from every corner of the world to dispossess and even murder the successful. Terrorism is an extremely complex social, political and religious phenomena, however, envy should be considered one of its main and deepest causes.
Marketing:
The Topic and its implicit values
There are quite a few “vaccines” against envy. The most effective one resides in the moral values’ realm. Kids should be taught in an early age to value other’s achievements.
Once we are grownups and we are already used to compare ourselves to the neighbour (that’s the source of envy feeling), there’s little one can do about it. The only beam of light that can save us from envious feelings at this stage is “reason”. Only good sense can undo the envious feeling. This is one of the purposes of the book.
As you can notice, the book -if wisely marketed- stands serious chances to become a bestseller in the USA market.
I would much appreciate you advise on what’s the next step I should make to put my book in USA and Canada
Thank you

Dear Elena,
My name is Eric Parsons and I am with Rueda Racing Kings (RRK), a NASCAR K&N Pro Series stock car race team. RRK is a Latino owned company bringing the Latino culture and flavor to the NASCAR world. Because of our minority owned status, RRK is recognized as a
Driver Diversity Team, which is a designation shared only by a few teams in the sport offering greater marketing exposure and funding by NASCAR.
The purpose of this correspondence is to seek a partnership with your company in our quest to raise corporate sponsorship in the amount of $5,000,000. Please review our corporate sponsorship presentation and compensation proposal for our marketing partners.
(URLs for both are below the SIG file)
The question you may be raising is why RRK is not spearheading business development
relationships in house. The answer is simple – the market has changed considerably and
we believe partnering with your firm will extend our reach and efficiency.
Partnering with firms such as yours, and holding a “minority owned” business status, will
provide RRK with a competitive advantage over our other NASCAR teams granting us
access to corporate marketing dollars set aside and committed to under-served yet highly
valuable audiences, such as the Hispanic communities in the South West and West Coast.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss in greater detail with you. I encourage you to contact
me at your earliest convenience.

I have been receiving your emails for sometime now. Thank you I enjoy the information. Ive been in the events and promotion business for sometime now and am about to journey on my own.
I’m just starting my business plan and looking for good sources for industry information in the Hispanic Media, Marketing, Entertainment and Music industry. The past few years I’ve been producing my own Public Access Cable TV show (Latin Reggae – Music and Talk Show), Internet Radio, Magazine ( Bloque Urbano – on my 4th edition going on 5th) Digital Publicity, Street and Online Marketing, Events and promotion and Talent management. I’m all over the place.
I live in NY but I travel to the Caribbean, Central America and Canada hosting events, promotions and interviewing artists. All of this and I’ve only done it as a hobby! I have contacts all over and now I want to start my own business.
I have an idea. I wont go into to much but I want to really research the industry and I’m not sure where to start.
Can you be of assistance?
Thank you

In 2009 he is currently ranked 8th in California and 42nd in the Nations top 500 NASCAR whelen drivers. Juan is looking for business sponsorship to help fund his racing career and would like to step up to the next level, NASCAR Grand national Series West, a televised series through ESPN Speed Channel. We are looking for business sponsors who would be willing to help Juan out who has only endeavored to someday race in a nationally televised top series in NASCAR. He has a big heart and great talent in this sport. If only someone would be willing to put some money into sponsoring him, to give him an opportunity to race in the higher level series, would not be disappointed. Please contact me on my cell at 916-307-3877 or Juan at 209-200-3385. Juan’s racing portfolio’s are available to anyone who is interested. Our address is: 12956 W. Stockton Boulevard, Galt, CA 95632. In addition, Juan has been getting alot of media exposure, i.e. newspapers, internet sites, etc. SiTV is a proud sponsor of Juan and truly believe he is headed for the big time ranks in NASCAR. If you have a list of hispanic businesses that we can contact and if you can put the word out to them as well, we will greatly appreciate it. Thank you Elena in advance for providing an avenue to us by allowing us to post this and to hopefully find people who are willing to help him out. Thanks Ruby
Hi Elena,
As a Hispanic entrepreneur, and I truly enjoy receiving your newsletter, and reading your informative website. Your blog shares so much current news about all that is happening of interest, and really affecting our Latino communities.
You truly demontrates that there is so much that can bring us together as people, regardless of race or cultural background!
As an event planner we are presenting a pageant and expo production, and would like to know if I may E-mail you our Press Release?
Our quinceañera event will strive to bring together young teenage girls by combining and honoring our Quince tradition, which is seen as a coming of age ritual, with the ever popular Sweet Sixteen American birthday celebrations. These two events have so much in common, and can be an enriching experience for all our young ladies.
Thank You and Kind Regards,

Hello,
I really like your Hispanic marketing blog. I’d like to invite yourself and other Hispanic brand marketers to what is one of South Florida’s hottest Latin-themed sports events: Pro Footvolley World Cup on Hollywood Beach. Footvolley – or futevolei – is a soccer/beach volleyball hybrid which is very popular in Rio de Janeiro and now South America.
Big names brands such as Bud Light, Powerade, Comcast, etc. have partnered up for this great event on their Hispanic marketing sides.
So before the FIFA World Cup in South Africa … check out the Pro Footvolley World Cup. The skill level is amazing and it’s a great time on the beach.
All matches are aired on GOLTV.

Hi Elena, I wanted to share with your readers a book I recently published called Crabrule. Its a difficult subject because it deals with La Envidia and other issues that many of us Hispanics and Latinos are familiar with. I wrote the book with the intention of offering solutions to stop this behavior among the cultures. Its a well written book that is balanced to appeal to persons of all cultures. I think your readers would find it to be a valuable book to read and to pass onto their children.
Hello Louis,
I appreciate your comment. Congrats on your new book!
I would like to propose a podcast guest: Oregon attorney F. de la Puente, an Hispanic American. His newest book,in Spanish, “Un Puente Al Derecho” (“A Bridge to the Law”)informs people of their rights. The author believes that people with the least economic and political power, and the most vulnerable to abuse are those who do not know their rights. Hispanics, most particularly those who are undocumented, suffer from a paucity of information regarding their rights and opportunity.
Attorney de la Puente provides in one volume information about family law, real estate and immigration reform, all of which is aimed at ameliorating the scarcity of information.
The book, written in an “easy” Spanish, is a blueprint for providing information on many of the legal issues that are part and parcel of family life and success in America.
Frank de la Puente was born in Peru and emigrated to the Los Angeles area when 9 years old. He has been a trial attorney for twenty years and proudly represents the individual, including undocumented persons and senior citizens.
Hello Ronda and thanks for your comment and suggestion. You are welcome to email me more information about the book at editor at hispanicmpr.com. Thanks! Elena

I presently teach for Kaplan University and the business school is putting together a listing of scholarships for students to search.
Kaplan has a very large % Hispanic student population.
I was wondering if you’d like to consider putting together a portfolio of scholarship opportunities for Hispanic Students?
Kaplan, owned by the Washington Post – could be a wonderful College opportunity for many Hispanic HS graduates – and those looking to further their education with an MBA.
Let me know if you are interested.

Ms. del Valle:
Our firm understands the immigration data in AZ as follows: In 2008 there were 560,000 illegal immigrants in the state. We estimate that over 250,000 illegals have left the state, but many have gone to NM, CO and other nearby states. One financial retail outlet of which we are aware had over 90 stores in 2008 and now has less than 40 stores to service the immigrant money transfer issue.
I posted a comment to your article, but I do not think it posted. Adelante!

Hola Elena: Forty nine days ago I launched http://www.momares.com a do-it-yourself tool to help business owners send mobile text message marketing campaigns. Being fully bilingual I’m interested in the US Hispanic market. My question is, if in your opinion the website and tool need to be translated into Spanish to better cater to the US Hispanic market. Since this is major undertaking and we are limited in funding, I would be most appreciative of our input. Will a Spanish version of http://www.momares.com help target the US Hispanic business owner or is English enough?
Hello Marcos and congrats on your new business!
As with any marketing effort it’s useful to segment your target audience, especially as a start up. The U.S. Hispanic market is large and diverse. To target it effectively it may be best to identify which part of the market you want to pursue first. In that process it is useful to develop the profile of your target customer by gender, age, acculturation, education, language preference, geographic location, technology use, etc. If you determine that your primary target audience is English dominant (or bilingual) an English language website should suffice.
I am new to your site. Very impressive.I am on a search for a free lance writer in NY who knows the Hispanic media community. I represent a law firm that specializes in personal injury. The firm is 50 years young and has an outstanding track record.
If you or any of your readers can recommended someone to me it would be very much appreciated. This free lance opportunity is not a one shot. It can be as big as you can make it.

Elena,
My family and I experienced the immigration system for 10 years after my wife was falsely accused of fraud. The story was so compelling and unique that I’ve recorded it in a 300 page, 88,000 word book entitled “DENIED!” – An Immigration Story of Faith and Hope (ISBN: 9780692006276).
The experience changed our lives forever and I have decided it is my calling and duty to serve others who also find themselves in the same desperate situation we were in; to give others hope and encouragement and educate the public concerning the plight of families who are being torn apart needlessly. If you can suggestion how to contact my audience and build a platform it would help my work.

Hello Elena,
I would love to speak with briefly. I would like to know the top 3 marketing strategies to reach the hispanic/latino community. My mother is Puerto Rican and my father is black. I was raised speaking English as a first language and I find the color of my skin can sometimes stand in the way of being connected with other hispanics in my community. I am training to help people secure the things that are of value to them by way of insurance and to plan for the financial freedom and I just don’t want to leave the Hispanic community out. What is the best way for me to reach out to them?
Thank You,

Hello Ona-Maria,
Thank you for your comment. The U.S. Hispanic market is quite large and diverse and there is no single approach or marketing strategy likely to be effective across the board. As with other large and diverse markets it is best to identify the segment you want to target first and approach them accordingly.
There is a lot of information and interviews with experts on this website free of charge that can help get you started and the Hispanic Marketing & Public Relations Book is full of insights from 19 contributors and very affordable – https://www.hispanicmpr.com/the-book/
Best of luck in your marketing efforts and feel free to share your insights and findings with our readers anytime.

Good am Elena: I know that you get many request from people eveyday. I have a 9 year old daughter with one simple wish, to get picked for the shamu show.we know its a random pick of a child but that leaves a slim chance. We bought a season pass and live in Ohio and are going to florida next week. She is rare in that she is allergic to almost everything and can not eat food. She gets her food through a feeding tube so that she can survive. In all appearences she is a normal little girl and we try to keep her that way.
Hello Jurgen Lee,
Perhaps if you contact the public relations staff at the attraction they might be able to help you.
Best of luck and hope you have a safe trip to Florida!
I just read an article in the July issue of The American Legion Magazine in which Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies rants against illegal immigration. Perhaps his most peculiar assertion is that there is an “open-borders camp” trying to let any and all into the country. The Legion is notoriously right-wing but this is downright silly.
Hi Elena My name is Ben Garcia and I work for Raza Development Fund and we are the nations largest hispanic community development financial institution (CDFI) load fund. We produce a newsletter called VOCES and for a future issue we are looking at “financial literacy.” More specifically I’m writing on retirement in the Latino communities and how family/cultural values might affect retirement plans. I’ve read 2 really good articles written by Romano Richetta and Silvia Pingitore on this site. Is their anyway you could provide me contact information for these two or point me in the right direction of some potential experts who have written about this topic?
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.
BG
Hi Benjamin,
Thanks for your interest in our Guest Articles. I will look in my files for his/their contact information and if it’s still current let them know of your interest.
Ok Elena any info would be greatly appreciated as I feel this is a topic more and more young latinos need to be aware of in order to stop the cycle of poor or uneducated decision about retirement are made.
I found the email address for the public relations person so I’ll send her a note. In the meantime, you may find the podcast interview with Roman of interest https://www.hispanicmpr.com/?s=romano
That podcast interview is the exact article I’d like to address Roman about. I find this part very interesting and I’d like touch on this subject in my writings.
“Hispanics want to have a larger house when they retire so that the entire extended family can visit. Yet, their savings habits are not in line with their goals. Some expect to rely on family to help out.”
The public relations person replied saying she is aware of your request and following up. Apparently, many of the decision makers who can respond are on vacation.
Thank you very much Elena. I’m assuming at this point it’s in their hands and I should await a reply from a PR person unless you have and email address that I should follow up on?
That was my impression from her email. She did not authorize me to share her email. . . perhaps when she receives an answer she will post a reply.
Elena,
I have been trying to get a copy of the “Emotional Branding” from the website but have not had any response. Can you please help me with this. Please email me at tarismendy@apiplus.com
Hello Tara,
Thanks for your interest. I just did a test on the Survey Page https://www.hispanicmpr.com/survey/ and it worked. I’m not sure what is wrong. I will email you to see if we can figure it out together.
Thanks for the article Elena! The photograph, however, is of me, and not Tom Schnebeck. Hope the Island was wonderful!
Hi,
I just returned – yes it was wonderful, thanks!
My apologies. I’ll fix the error right away. Thanks for letting me know!

We are in DIRE need of support for an incredible young man of Puerto Rican descent from the Bronx NY that was wrongfully convicted of a heinous murder of someone he considered to be his best friend. There is a compelling story that needs public attention to not only correct this horrible injustice but help correct blatant corruption within the justice system of New York City. We know this young man is innocent but knowing it and proving it (legally within the confines of the law) are two very different situations. Public awareness is essential and even with that, the wheels of justice turn very slowly. The monetary expense and toll on lives is incalculable. The naivety of most people concerning the American justice system allows many misconceptions to continue. The wrongful conviction rate is growing and our lives are put at risk. Justice is not to be discretionary but it has become a high priced commodity that only a few can afford. Corruption is commonplace in our lives and the legal system is certainly no exception. When promotions are based on numbers, the temptation for dishonesty becomes greater. I am a law and order person but I am also for equal and fair handling of rules. Unfortunately, multiple standards have become commonplace and mostly unchallenged. I keep hearing comments that allow me to believe most people think that Amanda Knox would be more judiciously handled if she were in the American justice system. I wish I could go back to thinking there is liberty and justice for all in our country.
I am writing to you as part of a group of people that formed a defense group to try and correct an injustice that occurred in New York City. When I first joined this defense group advocating for the exoneration of a young man names Paul Cortez, I trusted their conclusion of injustice since I knew their values and respected their rationality in dealing with situations. No one in this group had any type of history or personal relationship with Paul so I knew there were no emotional ties or biases to any of their conclusions. They saw a wrong and could not accept it. Although I respected their judgements, I had great apprehension. On the surface, I knew his rights were violated, but I have read all the media stories and doubt of his innocence was deeply planted. I guess I can say I didn’t go into the study with an open mind actually. I actually went in thinking he was guilty and had to be convinced he was innocent. Quite the opposite of what our system touts and the argument made by the French during the .DOMINIQUE STRAUSS-KAHN arrest. The media made Paul guilty and he had to prove his innocence but never had that opportunity.
After years of study, I have come to a definite opinion of Paul’s innocence. Paul had inept lawyers that offered little defense or rebuttal for the circumstantial evidence. His lawyers did not use resources that were available that could have proved his innocence. The media was blatantly bias and emphasized the fact he was born with the wrong pedigree and grew up in an impoverished neighborhood which somehow made him guilty. Paul did not receive any support from his community during the media attacks so there was no protest or public outrage like we saw with the Duke lacrosse players when they were victims of false stories and fictitious character attacks. Even so, voices from the Bronx and the Puerto Rican community are not heard as loudly as those from the neighborhood that produced the Duke players anyway. The media used stereotypes rather than facts.and failed to mention he worked hard to overcome those societal challenges and made incredible sacrifices to create a productive life for himself and his family. The stories failed to mention the incredibly decent way he had conducted himself and the many accomplishments he achieved in his young life. They reduced the real Paul Cortez to a monster and played on public fears and prejudices to sell stories and get a conviction. His character and the way he always conducted his life makes this more tragic and very frightening to me. If this can happen to someone of his caliber, few of us are exempt.
Please read the following article describing the situation:
Media Bias Denies Civil Rights
Studies confirm that media bias is pervasive in our daily lives. The First Amendment assures freedom of the press and allows all opinions to be expressed. Historically, various perspectives were viewed as thought provoking and a source of stimulation for ideas or actions. However, a new type of journalistic attitude has taken hold of much of the media. Ideas become fact, and these “facts” are manipulated to produce a more scandalous version of the truth and spun into sensationalized stories to boost sales. There are serious topics and issues being misrepresented by this tabloid media with little concern for accountability or consequence for the “public lynchings” they orchestrate. One consequence can be the undermining and ultimate loss of a citizen’s civil rights. American law states a citizen is to be innocent till proven guilty in a fair court of law. However, you can be tried and convicted by the media with no chance to prove otherwise unless you have incredible resources. Even then, it can rob a person of years of freedom before the truth is allowed to be proven. There is such a situation in New York that a group of concerned citizens became aware of and couldn’t ignore. We feel this is an attack on the rights of all citizens. The media took a story and sold their product ,the truth be damned, and helped to wrongfully convict a very talented young man named Paul Vincent Cortez.
Paul grew up in a tough neighborhood in the Bronx New York but focused intensely on academic, athletic and theatre interests in hopes of fulfilling a dream to create a better life for himself and his family. He earned academic scholarships to the prestigious Buckley School, Poly Prep Country Day School, and Boston University. During his school years, he accumulated an impressive resume of achievements. After becoming the first family member to graduate from college, he was an aspiring Broadway actor and lead singer in a popular New York City band and supported himself by working as a trainer at Equinox Gym in Manhattan.
On November 27, 2005, Paul endured the most unthinkable devastation. A person he loved was found murdered on the floor of her Upper East Side apartment. Paul voluntarily spoke to the police in hopes of providing them with information that might help find the murderer. During six hours of intense interrogation, Paul volunteered his foot prints, allowed the police to photograph his hands and body (which revealed no cuts or wounds), provided his cell phone for inspection (no blood stains), volunteered his DNA, and allowed the police to search his apartment without any sort of warrant in order to eliminate himself from the list of suspects hoping they could concentrate their efforts on finding her killer. There was no reason or evidence to believe that Paul had committed this crime. The first three weeks of the investigation did not yield any relevant witnesses, DNA, surveillance videos or any other illuminating evidence.
With the media hungry to announce a killer on the loose in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the world, the police were under incredible scrutiny to produce immediate answers and make an arrest. In addition, this made-for-Hollywood scenario featured a fast-rising Manhattan District Attorney looking to capitalize on the high-profile nature of the murder frenzy. The investigation and forensic testing was limited. Apparently, informing the media that the investigation lacked any significant breakthroughs was not a viable option.
Instead, much of the personal information that Paul volunteered to the police during his questioning was somehow leaked to the media by unnamed or “anonymous police sources”. Fabricated stories were printed from these leaks that created an erroneous image of Paul Cortez as a twisted madman. Paul was tried and convicted by the media for this crime before his trial. His trial was a farce with little defense by his inept lawyers. Paul found out the hard way that innocence and the truth is not one’s guarantee for freedom and is now rotting away in an 8X10 foot cell on a wrongful conviction.
We believe that all citizens of the United States have the right to a fair trial with competent counsel. We believe that Paul Cortez was denied a fair trial because of inept counsel, media bias influence on the jury, inadequate investigation, and inexplicable lack of forensic testing. We believe that Paul Cortez was denied his basic civil rights and was unfairly convicted by a bias media rather than a fair court of law. Accordingly, we have formed a Defense Fund ( FREEPAULCORTEZ.ORG) to attempt to have Paul Cortez’s case be reopened and reviewed by the State of New York through the grant of a new trial. We hope that all fair minded people will feel compelled to join this fight for Paul Cortez, as well as themselves, to see that Paul Cortez is afforded a fair and proper attempt to prove his innocence.
Any support or suggestions you would have for helping would be incredibly appreciated.
This situation needs professional investigation and as with all causes, we need public support to achieve our goal. Our goal is to bring justice to Paul Cortez and allow this responsible man to regain his life. I am begging you to please look into this situation and please help us to gain support for this fight for justice.
Thank you,
Diane Seltzer

Hi,
My name is Maria Gomez and I reside in Miami, Florida. I am a Cuban-American. I am a HUGE fan of Mario Moreno Reyes “Cantinflas”. One of my son’s who also resides in Miami Florida met with a nephew of Cantinflas who resides in Miami. From what I was told by my son that the Moreno family has turn their back on the nephew and is currently homeless in Miami. I would love to know if you had anymore information about this. Cantinflas was the Greatest Actor of all time and had helped so many in building homes..schools..hosiptals. etc. and now one of his own is homeless….I believe his name is Carlo Moreno, but not really sure. Let me know if this is something of interests and I am pretty sure I might be able to get more of a contact information. Thank you for your time.
Hi Maria,
That would be very sad indeed. There are a number of programs that help the homeless and formerly homeless in Miami. “ OFFICIAL FCC COMPLAINT REF # 11-C00347732 FILED 11/18/2011 “
I am a USAF Honorable Vietnam Veteran from Puerto Rico. My father and all uncles are retired U.S. Army. Since I arrived here in Miami I noticed the Spanglish language erroneously spoken here throughout ALL the existing forms of advertising, marketing, and public communications such as TV commercials, adds, News Broadcasts, Radio etc.
Adding English words to Spanish communications is not only incorrect, but destructive and irresponsible. All languages should be expressed properly, correctly and instructively.
It is the Medias & FCC’s responsibilities to present a correct grammar to the public, not a Spanglish slang.
We are destroying our culture & language. Ex; In Spanish it’s NOT “Taxes” it’s “Impuestos” , not Foreclosure / Reposecion Bancaria, not Lunch/Almuerzo, not Sheriff/Alguacil, not Management/Gerencia ó Gerencial, not Thanks Giving/Accion de Gracias, not Christmas/Navida, not North East/Nor Este, not Baseball/Pelota, not Basket Ball/Baloncesto, not Soccer/Balon Pie, not Fan/Fanatico, not Bakery/Reposteria, not Cake/Bizcocho ó Paztel ó Torta, not Jeans/Mahones, not Security/Seguridad, not Manager/Gerente, not Farmacy/Farmacia, not en Lunch/Almorzando etc ..…
Let’s say it right, it’s easy, try it. We owe it to our children and our nations.
I don’t hear or see Americans destroying their language, nor Germans, nor French, nor Chinese, nor Russians etc…. College Graduate Communications Professionals and TV/Radio CEO’s are teaching our Spanish people to be and talk illiterate, and to think and express one’s self incorrectly. What is going on here ?
The US Gov MUST put a stop to this destruction and degradation of the Spanish Grammar, Language, Communications, Culture, and Advertising / Marketing Strategies..
As professionals that we are, we all must correct the incompetence of using Spanglish in expressing an idea through the media to a modern civilized society and world. Spanish speaking people have a real and correct grammar to communicate effectivly. If in doubt, man has created Dictionaries for the use of proper grammar and speech. We the people have an obligation and right to be expressed to correctly in an educative manner. There ARE proper words for every word spoken in Spanish, NOT to be substituted with Spanglish slang.
We are a proud culture. Let’s show respect and take the initiative to express our thoughts correctly to the public as it should be. Educate the public correctly, for It is Written, “Lets do it right” !
I truly hope that you all understand the severity of what has been unfolding for a long period of time now here in Florida and many other Hispanic speaking states in this nation. Hispanics are a great part of this nation and something must be done that we speak our OWN language, and not one invented or incorrectly imposed upon us by unprofessional, cheap, uncaring public media deliverers, literally destroying our society with ignorance. What would our nations forefathers say !
By the way, I used an electronic dictionary to correct various discrepancies in this official complaint. Does anybody today ever use a ABC Spelling & Grammar Checker ?
Why would it be used by so many? Yes, I’m sure you know why, because it is important !
Let’s make it right for ALL the people.
LET’S DO IT NOW !

Elena,
I was referred to you by Martha E. Galindo. She read my dissertation about Latina leadership in the United States and thought you might be interested in posting some of it on your website. Below is my dissertation abstract.
Title:
A Profile of Latina Leadership in the United States: Characteristics, Positive Influences, and Barriers.
By:
Dr. Damary M. Bonilla-Rodriguez
For more information:
alatinaleadershipprofile@gmail.com
Dissertation Abstract:
Latinas face obstacles achieving proportionate representation in significant leadership roles. This research aimed to identify characteristics unique to Latina leaders that represented shared values and beliefs of Latinas, and to understand positive factors and obstacles associated with Latina leadership in the United States.
Survey responses from three hundred thirty-five Latinas and four interviewees from across the U.S. suggested that there are forty-three characteristics an effective Latina leader should possess.
Four essential characteristics identified were: creative, good listener, optimistic/ positive, and passionate.
The forty-three characteristics were categorized into five groups of similar characteristics to synthesize what study participants believed were essential characteristics of Latina leaders.
The categories were: high integrity, marianismo, new Latina, transformational leader, and visionary. Pursuing the attributes of these five leadership categories will help Latinas who aspire to become leaders understand what it takes to be a successful Latina leader, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and enable them to create a plan of success for themselves.
Furthermore, study participants noted factors of positive influence on Latinas. Six crucial positive influencers identified were: successful educational attainment, participating in leadership training, possessing self-confidence, having role models, religious influence, and family influence.
Study participants also noted factors which can be obstacles for Latinas. Four critical obstacles identified were: lack of mentors, lack of opportunities, cultural obligations, and family obligations.
Literature about Latinas and Latina leadership is limited. There is an urgent need for research about the topic(s). This study was one step towards understanding the dynamics of Latina leadership in the U.S.
You posted an article on Dec 11, 2007 titled New Bank targets Latinos in South Bronx on the hispanicmpr.com site. It had a photo of the ribbon cutting ceremony at CheckSpring bank. Photo was by Miguel Rjl. I am in need of that photo for a book – can you connect me with photographer or a digital hi-res file of that book. Need asap. Print deadline looms.

Good afternoon Elena,
I would to talk to you regarding an opportunity to participate on a conference call with American Red Cross PR professionals from around the country. I would like to have a third-party subject matter expert to talk about today’s Hispanics in the United States. I believe the Red Cross needs to have a better understanding of its audience before we embark on any PR campaigns. Translations and one size fits all messaging don’t work.
The call is scheduled for next Wednesday, April 25 at 2 p.m. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,
Cynthia

There was a man that use to be a good Teacher. His name is Mario Quiones. He should be about 63 yrs old now. The state of NY board of education got over on him. He was accused of doing disgusting things with his students. Now I know for a fact that its not true. He was black mailed into admiting to somthing he wasnt guilty of. Further more maybe there is somthing you can do. I have proof that he was blackmailed by the same people who testified aginst him. And I have it recorded on video of him being blackmailed. Now I wish to remain annomous. But at the same time clear his name with the truth finally being told and possibly being shown.
My partners and I are seriously considering backing a person who has a great idea for mexican cuisine. Could you point me to any research sources for things like: trends in per capita consumption of mexican food in the US, the growth of mexican fast food and full service restaurants?
Thank you very much.

I am a new author is looking to publish three books about the Mexican American culture, but i sent out a query letter describing my books and no positive response, any helpful hints or advice you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Nick, every project is unique so it’s hard to know. In my experience it was necessary to send query letters to many publishers to find a positive repl. A single letter may not be reaching the right one, especially in these troubled times for the publishing industry. Another possibility is to self publish the books as ebooks. Once you prove there is interest through sales of an ebook you may be able to get a print publisher interested. You may want to check out APE: How to Publish a Book: https://www.hispanicmpr.com/2013/02/01/entrepreneur-app-developer-self-publish-book-on-digital-publishing/ Best of luck!

Hi Elena, I represent IZ-ON Media, leader in the digital place-based media advertising space. IZ-ON recently announced a new Hispanic Targeted Audience Network to help brand advertisers deliver very targeted ads to Hispanic consumers while they're shopping in-store, in convenience, big box, grocery and other retail stores. The ads appear on IZ-ON's owned and operated networks, and IZ-ON also creates all of the advertising and other programming content.I would like to see if you'd consider doing a podcast interview with IZ-ON CEO Ahmad Ouri about the benefits of leveraging place-based media network advertising in an overall campaign, and how the new networks incorporate cultural and lifestyle aspects that are particular to the Hispanic market – and why advertisers should include these in their targeted advertising strategies. Please contact me at nancy(at)realtime-comm(dot)com if you'd like to schedule something. Thank you!

Hi Elena,
I’m looking for data and research on the spending habits of Hispanics & Latinos living in the US.
Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Trevor
Hi Trevor,
You might search HispanicMPR for past articles. For affordable sources you can find online, purchase or check out of the library you can also look at U.S. Census data and publications derived from it such as Who We Are Hispanics. There are also specialized data sellers who can provide you lists with specific information down to the zip code. Hope that helps to get you started.
