Jonathan R. Ashton, vice president, Quantitative Research, Cultural Access Group
Jonathan, who has spent 14 years in market research, began his career as a telephone interviewer while attending college. He functions both as vice president of the Quantitative Group, and as project manager for complex projects, specializing in telecom and financial services. He graduated at Brigham Young University with a degree in Education, and then received his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Utah. Jonathan functions both as VP of the Quantitative group, and as project manager for more complex projects. A native of Utah, raised in central Illinois, Jonathan began his research career with Wirthlin Worldwide as a telephone interviewer while finishing his degree at BYU in Provo, UT. Â
After completing an MBA at the University of Utah, Jonathan re-joined Wirthlin in Chicago managing projects for McDonald’s and Commonwealth Edison. Jonathan then spent time with Customer Development Corporation in Peoria, IL managing a variety of financial services clients. After moving to Los Angeles, Jonathan worked for The Dohring Company as director of research, where he consulted with automobile dealers around the country about marketing and advertising research. Jonathan joined CAG in 1999 and has worked with a variety of clients including Wells Fargo, State Farm, Levi’s, and Americatel. Jonathan lived for 16 months in Santiago, Chile where he learned Spanish and gained valuable insight into Latin-American culture.
